The Light and love

Selenthiel took a few steps off the road and onto a well traveled, but narrower road that branched off the main road. Off to her right side was a wooden milestone point to her west with the words "Sunfire Estate". It had been some time since she had last visited there, and most certainly she never recalled ever walking to it but she had thought a long walk would be able to clear her mind of things and to enjoy the serene sights of Eversong Forest. She continued her way down the narrow road towards the estate that could now easily be seen off into the distance. As the distance between the estate and herself closed, she could now easily make out the guards that were stationed around the main entrance as they occasionally would move from one location to another. A central spire, possibly no taller than 5 floors, protruded out behind the golden high walls that defended the estate from any attackers. It was far more simple in design and clearly meant for fortification and yet, it held some elegance about it from afar. Biara had no doubt made some changes to the estate when her forces had taken it from House Dawnsea some time ago. Selenthiel continued to admire the simple and elegant design of the estate, comparing it to the more complex and immense structures that made up the many Houses within the confines of Silvermoon, including House Felo'melorn.

As she approached the main gate of the estate, a House guard acknowledged her and slowly placed himself between her and the gate as a second guard positioned himself near the main entrance, as to be expected of any visitor approaching.

"Speak your business." the guard closest to her demanded.

Selenthiel smiled and nodded, "I am here to see Lady Kyliska on personal business. She is expecting me."

The guard grunted in response to her words, "Lady Kyliska has not informed us of any visitors that she was expecting."

Selenthiel cocked her head, confused over his simple response. "I can assure you that I speak the truth. You can confirm this if you would allow me to pass or by simply summoning her presence."
The guard shook his head in defiance, "You have not even given me your name and you expect us to just allow you to enter the estate?"

Selenthiel was somewhat shocked, given the two Houses were allies and Selenthiel had made numerous visits to the Sunfire Estate in the past she was sure the guards and servants of the estate would have grown accustomed to who she was...but in the end the guard was indeed correct and there was no reason to become upset over it.

"If you could inform her that Lady Selenthiel Felo'melorn is here. I am sure once you mention my name she will immediately allow me access inside."

The guard shook his head in silence but before Selenthiel could say anything the gates behind him opened up and out stepped a blonde haired Sin'dorei dressed in leather garments. Selenthiel watched as the man slowly turned around to extend his hand behind the gate with a second, more feminine hand appeared from behind the gate as it grabbed a hold of his hand and out stepped Kyliska Sunfire. The blonde haired man held her hand and pulled her into him where the two shared a deep passionate kiss, completely unaware that they were being watched. The two guards continued to make Selenthiel their focal point and ignored Kyliska and her suitor as they continued to kiss. Selenthiel was not entirely shocked over the incident but she certainly felt a bit awkward and yet she could not resist the temptation,

"Ah..now it all makes perfect sense." she said loud enough for the two to hear her in a joking manner. Kyliska's lips parted with his and her face turned to Selenthiel to reveal a flushed red face, whether it was from the heat of the moment or the shock from being caught kissing another man she was not entirely sure but Selenthiel would make sure she could give her as much grief as possible.

Kyliska quickly let go of the man, her face still beat red, "Oh! Selenthiel! I..I- did not see you there!"

Selenthiel grinned at her friend, if anyone was going to be given a hard time, it would have to be her. The sight of seeing Kyliska with another man and not her brother came as no shock to her and on the contrary she was extremely happy for her. "It is quite alright, I can see I arrived 'unexpected'" said still continuing to grin.

"Kyliska shook her head and walked over to her, " No, No. It is quite alright! I am glad you are here, well...under the circumstances..." her voice trailed off as she turned back to look at the man by the gate still whom was now also grinning.

Selenthiel recognized his face now that Kyliska had removed her lips from his face but she could not put a name with it and of course grew curious, "Perhaps I can come back another day if you and your friend have something planned?"

Kyliska once again shook her head, "Braeth'el was just on his way out and I simply was walking with him to the gate." Kyliska said as she turned to the man and gestured for him to approach her and Selenthiel. Braeth'el' had a muscular physique, his short blonde hair was well groomed and his face revealed a seasoned and intelligent man.

"Lady Selenthiel." he said as he bowed recognizing who she was. Selenthiel smiled at him, nodding once as she continued to inspect him,

"A pleasure of course." She was curious about him, more so on what his position was within House Sunfire given she had never heard of him until now, and to court Kyliska with Biara around constantly only meant he was highly trusted. "I have business to attend to elsewhere. I will see you this evening..." he said as he reached for Kyliska's right hand to plant a kiss on it, causing Kyliska's cheeks to flush red once more. "Lady Selenthiel, it is always a pleasure." he said as he bowed to her and departed back in the direction of Sunfire Estate where he disappeared behind the gate. Kyliska could not keep her eyes off of him, even to the very last second until he was out of their sight. Selenthiel chuckled to herself, amused in the humor over the situation with Kyliska still watching Braeth'el, hardly noticing her laugh.

Kyliska was in not in the right train of thought for starting out on her first day to focusing on utilizing the powers of Light within her.  She was like a love-struck Goblin during the Love is in the Air festival, "I can see our first lesson will need to be at a later date." Selenthiel said almost laughing.

Kyliska shot an apologetic look back to her, "Oh Sel, I am so sorry! I had completely forgotten that you mentioned you were going to start my training today. So much has been going on!"

Selenthiel laughed, "I can see that."

Kyliska cocked an eyebrow at her and sighed, "What is 'that' suppose to mean?"

Selenthiel shook her head, attempting to hold in more laughter, "What I simply mean to say my dear friend is that I understand that you have newly found responsibilities that require your attention...." her voice trails off. Kyliska nodded in approval over her words but before Kyliska could speak what was on her mind Selenthiel decided to finish her statement "...and apparently Braeth'el is one of them." she said now laughing.

Kyliska glared at her in response. "This is already difficult enough as it is and now I have you teasing me about it!" she whined.

Selenthiel crossed her arms and smiled, she truly was enjoying this. "Forgive me, I do not mean to provoke you."

Kyliska looked back to the estate and slowly back to her, she had grown nervous. "I honestly was not sure how you or anyone else from your House would react to this should it become public. We have been doing our best to keep it private but..."

Selenthiel nodded in approval at Kyliska's words. There was no way to know how Tyavel would react to this, but Selenthiel knew it would not cause as big of a commotion as Kyliska believed it would be among her own House. "I think...the worst has come to pass. " she said as she put a hand on Kyliska's shoulder attempting to comfort her over the recent hardships her and Andithiel had gone through. Selenthiel had expected to see her mood change with a teary eyes expression but she did not, Kyliska again turned back to the gate of the estate and smiled. "You are right." Kyliska said.

Kyliska invited Selenthiel inside Sunfire Estate where she was lead to a small decorated room containing numerous elaborate paintings and other ornamental decor. The room had two large divans that faced one another with a wooden table situated between the two. The room was clearly used for entertaining guests and it was the first Selenthiel had actually ventured inside the estate. Kyliska walked over to one of the divans and just let herself fall back into it and sighed. Selenthiel took it upon herself to further investigate the fine furnishings around the room, her hands glazed the surface of a finely polished wooden  table in which a large vase sat atop.

"I suppose this is where I should offer you something to drink?" Kyliska asked her, still laying on the divan. "Wine, tea, water...we have it all."

Selenthiel did not respond but continued to investigate the room. On the opposite end of the room was a fireplace, a large marble mantle adorned the outside.  Upon further inspection she could tell the fireplace was hardly ever used and a large painting of Biara and Kyliska hung above it. Selenthiel was interrupted when she heard Kyliska stand up, she turned to see her walk over to the other end of the room and grab a hold of a crystal decanter that no doubt had wine of some sort inside it.

"Do you know how hard it is to get good wine in Draenor?" Kyliska said as she poured the contents of the decanter into a glass.

Selenthiel turned and walked toward her, "It is not easy to come by, I already know what you speak of." she said as she gestured to Kyliska to pour her a glass. Kyliska smiled and grabbed an extra glass that already was laying next to the previous one and poured her a glass and handed to her. The two retreated to the center of the room once again and sat down on opposite divans with wine glasses in hand. "So, are you going to indulge me or are you going to make me come up with my own theory's?" Selenthiel said grinning as she began to slowly sip on her wine.

Kyliska took a large sip of her wine and closed her eyes and leaned her head back, "Alright, alright. Braeth'el and I have been 'seeing' each other for only a short few months."

Selenthiel smiled, "I figured it was only recently Kyliska, I mean to ask how things started between you two. There 'has' to be details."

Kyliska giggled at her words and took another sip of her wine, "Oh Sel, there is so much that has recently happened here, you have no idea."

Selenthiel was intrigued and wanted to know more but before the two women could go any further on the topic the door to the room slowly opened and Biara quietly stepped into the room with a smile on her face. Biara had not noticed that the room already was occupied and slowly closed the door, trying not to make a sound while a huge smile formed on her face. Selenthiel and Kyliska looked at each other, both confused but said nothing. A mans voice could be heard from down the hallway yelling "I am coming for you-" causing Biara to giggle. Selenthiel continued to watch Biara, whom was still clueless as to the fact she was being watched.
"Sister..." Kyliska finally said, startling Biara whom turned to look at her sister and now noticing Selenthiel. "Kylis- Lady Selenthiel!" she blurted out from being caught off guard. Biara's smile quickly vanished and was replaced with a straight forward expression.

"Lady Dayfire..." Selenthiel said slightly amused.

Biara acted casual and straightened out her dress, attempting to regain her composure. "I thought you were in Draenor still?" Biara asked Selenthiel nervously.

Selenthiel looked over to Kyliska who only responded by taking a very large sip of wine from her glass. "I have decided to make a much more active presence here and thus decided to spend half of my time between Draenor and Quel'Thalas."

Biara nodded, her gaze focused on the doorway, "Ah, well...your desire to...devote your valuable time to Quel'Thalas is honorable and-" but before she could finish the mans voice from before grew close "Biara...I am coming to find you-" Biara in her haste departed the room and closed the door behind her, and the sound of giggling and laughter proceeded out in the hall way.

Selenthiel once again looked back to Kyliska who's eyes were set on Selenthiel but the moment Selenthiel made eye contact with her, she again took another large sip of wine. "By the sun, what is going on here?" Selenthiel said clearly confused.

Kyliska raised her right hand and rubbed the back of her neck, "As I said...a lot has happened recently."

Selenthiel raised her right eye brow in response, "I imagine so." The room began to get darker which told her it was getting well into the evening hours and she was not fond of walking through Eversong at night. "I suppose the story will have to wait, I did not realize how late it was getting." she said as she arose from the divan.

"Would you like an escort home Sel? I could have Braeth'el make sure you arrive home safely." Kyliska offered as she too arose from her divan as well.

"No, that is quite alright. If I leave now I will be able to avoid walking through the forest at night." she said as she started to walk towards the doorway leading out of the room.

"Perhaps we could meet in Silvermoon next time? I need to purchase some more dresses and according to my sister twenty-one is not enough." Kyliska said as she rolled her eyes.

Selenthiel nodded, "Of course. Make sure to stop by the spire when you are in Silvermoon and I would be happy to go with you. Besides there is-" The sound of laughter and giggling erupted from the opposite side of the estate cutting Selenthiel off, "-is 'much' to discuss. Pressure your sister into joining us." Selenthiel said smirking. Kyliska laughed and guided Selenthiel out of the estate. On her way out she passed Braeth'el who smiled as he passed, "Lady Selenthiel."
