A good laugh
A powerful storm can change ones feelings and it could be a number of
things that trigger that change, sight, touch and even smell. Selenthiel
looked around her chambers and shook her head with disgust. "And like
any good storm it always leaves a mess behind..." she said as she bent
down to pick up a golden brush that lay at her feet. Her bed chambers
had been ransacked by House Dawnsea assailants during the attack on
House Felo'melorn and under normal circumstances the room would had been
immediately cleaned up with everything placed back in proper order but
any servants were killed during the attack which left much of
Felo'melorn Spire in disarray. Selenthiel slowly walked over to her
dresser which she had already previously cleaned and placed the brush in
her hand on top of it. The sound of footsteps shuffling through the
clutter on her chamber floors behind her startled her and caused her to
immediately turn around, only to see her sister Tyavel standing before
her. "By the sun Tyavel, you startled me!" she said and she crossed her
arms in annoyance of her sisters presence. Her sister just smiled ,
"You do realize even Andithiel has already cleaned up his room and 'he'
has been frequenting the Sunfire Estate through out the day sister..."
Tyavel said toying with her. Selenthiel grinned as she looked over to
her sister, " I suppose you would not happen to have a spell of some
sorts that could clean up this mess would you?" she said as she leaned
over once more to pick up an item off her floor only to reveal a purple
laced lingerie garment in her hand in which she tried to hide from her
sisters eyes by hiding it behind her back. It was too late, Tyavel's
face formed a devious grin with the site of the lingerie piece. "Oh now
this is a surprise, sister! I would have never have guessed you would
even own such a scandalous garment piece...I must say I am impressed..."
but before Tyavel could continue on Selenthiel interjected angrily, "If
you came here to comment on what I choose to wear for my evening
attire than might I suggest you waste someone else s time and leave me
be!" Tyavel laughed and smiled, " I meant no harm from it and I only
meant to lighten the mood for you. These last few weeks have been very
difficult for us all, in truth I came up to see how you were doing and
to give you some excellent news and judging by the state of your room
dear sister, you could use it." Tyavel said once more with a humorous
tone. Selenthiel sighed and shook her head. "The Sunreavers have agreed
to station some of their magi within the spire for defensive purposes
until our regiment is back to full strength. Meanwhile I suggest we
select a small group of recruits from our ranks and train them
ourselves. We could use..." Selenthiel interjected by raising her hand
to speak, "Tyavel...you have organized all of this yourself without
consorting me? " Tyavel cocked her head in confusion but remained
silent. "Must I remind you that you have given me full leadership of our
House and with that I do not remember being consoled in regards to this
by you...I could very well have you exiled from Quel'Thalas or worse,
executed...." Selenthiel attempted to hold her composure in front of her
sister, hoping she would of course see the seriousness in the
matter...but it was too late. Selenthiel smiled and immediately began to
laugh only to have Tyavel follow in suit. Sounds of laughter could be
heard from the nearly empty halls of Felo'melorn Spire.
