Selenthiel stood aside her sister Tyavel on a balcony over looking the main entryway to the spire of House Felo'melorn as they watched countless House Sunfire servants entering. Each servant carried a handful of clothe and banner, no doubtfully meant to replace the House Felo'melorne crest that adorned the spire.
"This is difficult to watch sister..." Tyavel said gently with little emotion. Selenthiel could not agree more as she continued to watch House Sunfire servant's pour through the entryway. "This is not the end of our line, Tyavel." Selenthiel said as she leaned over and pressed her weight against the stone balcony. Tyavel sighed and looked over her shoulder towards her, "Isn't it?" Tyavel raised her right hand to rub her neck and shook her head dis pleasingly. "Are we that terrible of a family?" she asked. Selenthiel turned her attention away from the activity of the main entrance to her sister "What do you mean?" she asked in shock. Tyavel gestured towards the entrance of the entryway, "This. Is this our penance from being so blind?"
Selenthiel knew her sisters pride was deeply wounded from all that had happened. She had suffered the most from Denissia's betrayal down to the very core of her House entering it's blood debt to House Sunfire. "This is not your doing sister. Denissia was insidious in her methods but never once did any of us question her loyalty. Andithiel and myself are as much to blame." Tyavel shook her head at her words, clearly not convinced. "Regardless...what was done, was done. Our family name will endure, just as our people have done so throughout the ages."
Selenthiel once again turned her attention back to the entryway where it seemed the last of the servants from House Sunfire had arrived. The west side of the room had been stacked with boxes against the wall with a few loose tapestry's resting on top of them, no doubt from the Sunfire Estate. "In the name of the Sun, just how many of these did she send over?!" Tyavel said with annoyance. Selenthiel slightly smiled, amused at Tyavel's words, "I am sure Kyliska had her tailors working through out the night producing these." she said as she carefully inspected the clutter against the wall. "Felo'melorn Spire is grand in size compared to their estate in Eversong sister, I am sure Kyliska was just making sure she had no lack of."
Tyavel simply nodded, "Speaking of Kyliska....have you finished the final preparations on the contract? I will wish to review it before you submit it for Kyliska and Biara's approval." Selenthiel had made numerous attempts to begin to write the contract but with each attempt ended in failure. She knew little of such things and no doubtfully would need to seek aid from the Magister's Council. "I am afraid I have made little success in it. I have been going through some books in the library hoping to gain some clarification on how best to proceed but considering the matter, it is extremely uncommon. I need more answers."
Tyavel nodded once more.
"Be patient with this little sister, I want to establish anything within that contract that may protect our family name even under the Sunfire banner. While I am thankful for what they did I want to confirm my family will be secure." Tyavel said as she took another look back at the boxes against the wall in the main entryway. "Make sure that they handle the banners of our family crest delicately once they begin to replace them with theirs and place ours into storage under lock and key." Tyavel said as she turned to walk away, quickly disappearing around the corner.
Selenthiel turned and walked toward the stairs leading towards the main entryway as she prepared to direct the House servants into replacing the banners through out the spire.
